I Have A Facebook Page.Would you build your dream home on a plot of land that belonged to a big corporation? Absolutely not! Entrusting your online property to Mark Zuckerberg (Creator of Facebook) puts you at the mercy of a powerful landlord and you can’t control what happens to it at the end of the day!
Facebook’s algorithms, policies and reach (how many people see your posts) change constantly, and small business owners are subject to terms and conditions related to giveaways, sweepstakes and polling or voting campaigns. There are some limitations buried in the fine print for Facebook that many small business owners aren’t even aware of. You don’t have these limitations when you run your own website. Your website is all yours. Let Facebook point to it not control it! Big marketing companies say they can do a campaign for 50-100 dollars a day they aren't telling you everything.
Did you know that not all of that money you spent is going to your ad specifically? They take all the money they collect and split it up on everyone's pay per click advertising. Don't be fooled into spending thousands of dollars with these big money-sucking promises. Look at the reviews. For example, I am the owner of an RV Campground and looking to fill RV Spots for the summer. I would look up RV Dealers on Facebook and checked out the reviews. "My family and I just bought a new camper we love it!... Tom Smith" I would go to Toms' profile and lets him know about the park. This approach can work for any niche. WICKED SMART!!!Another way is to look up recommendations on Facebook! "Can anyone recommend the right camping spot for the summer?"
